Peter Walsh BDS
Cosmetic Dentist / Implantologist
Dr Walsh is the principle of Birkbeck Dental Clinic, Sidcup, Kent. He qualified at The Royal London Medical and Dental School in 1992 as a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) He also studied at Guys Special Needs Clinic to provide Intra- Venous sedation for nervous patients. In 1995 he began his implant studies and qualified at The Eastman Dental Institute to provide dental implants .
He has attended many national and international courses on dental implantology and cosmetic dentistry- (including Switzerland, Austria and USA) and is currently training other dental surgeons about the Straumann implant system. As a regular attendee of post graduate seminars , conferences and lectures he is able to keep abreast of the latest techniques available.
He founded the practice in1994 aiming to provide a high quality practice, with the emphasis on complete patient care and comfort. He has a special interests in implants, cosmetic and restorative dentistry.
''I have been on numerous course throughout the UK, Europe and America to enhance the skills that I bring to the practice. I have been placing implants for over 10 years ,as well as providing dental sedation ( twilight sedation for nervous patients) following completion of the post graduate training at Guys Hospital- London .Currently I am lecturing for Straumann (one of the UK main suppliers of Dental Implants ) to train other dentists about the system .'My aim is to provide a high level of care and treatment that will enhance the appearance and reduce the need for future treatment. i.e. long term patient care.''
